Best Practice Spotlight Organization


Hampton Terrace Care Centre is committed to using evidence-based resources to support and sustain best practices that ensure the best possible resident care.


Hampton Terrace began the journey to become a Best Practice Spotlight Organization through the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) in April of 2019. In June of 2023, Hampton Terrace Care Centre received the offical designation of Best Practicve Spotlight organization(BPSO).


    The guidelines include:
  • Person- and Family-Centred Care
  • Preventing Falls and Reducing Injury from Falls, 4th Edition
  • Promoting Safety: Alternative Approaches to the Use of Restraints
  • Assessment and Management of Pressure Injuries for the Interprofessional Team
